Bio:

I have tried to hold on to my faith but find it harder and harder with every passing day. Ever since the non-prophecy of the Death of Aroden, madness, loss of faith and the disappearance of priests and clerics alike has run rampant among us. I have been sent by a cleric that I have come to call father to seek out others. Silperion, the cleric, found me in the aftermath of an attack by the Drow led by Maaledren, now known as Morokai the first love of my elfen mother, Fiaenwyn.

She lived in the ancient elven capital of Celwynvian until the time of the great evacuation to Sovyrian after the discovery of the collusion of the Starstone with our world. Maaledren decided to stay and protect the home that they had built together. When the elves returned, the ones that stayed behind were led out of the Darklands by Maaledren, now to be known as Morokai. Fiaenwyn was sent away by her father to keep her safe never to return. Morokai vowed that he would be with her again. That they were bonded for eternity. She found herself in a small village, in the furthest corner of Taldor, away from the political unrest. All was quiet and peaceful for her. An existence she had so longed for, a place to call home. In time, and with the persistance of a human man she fell in love with Angliden. They wed soon after to the joy and acceptance of the village. In time they had a child Arnis.

The uneasy peace between Taldor and Qadira had finally broke and they were at war again. Morokai knew where Fiaenwyn was hiding and used the war as an excuse to attack the village. He disguised himself, and his followers, as Taldorian soldiers. When the village welcomed them in they quickly revealed themselves. They started to burn houses and left a pile of dead in their wake. She told Anglidren to take Arnis and hide among the bodies and pretend to be dead. She told him it was her they were after…that it was all her fault. Anglidren did not blame her. He did what he was told.

When the morning came and all was silent Silperion, a cleric, who was in search of other Phasrasma followers wandered into the village. He was shocked by the death and destruction. When he thought all was lost he noticed movement among the dead. Fearing an attack by the Undead he had his dagger ready in hand. He put the dagger away when he realized it was a baby left alive among this carnage. There was a sense of calm in the child that intrigued the cleric. He wrapped him up in a sack and raised him as his own.

How do I know all this…a journal was left and this story was told to me, as a nighttime story, by Silperion when I was old enough to comprehend. He told it to me again and again so that I will never forget.
